Dr. Mark T. Van Horn

Dr. Mark T. Van Horn

 

Dr. Van Horn is a 1983 cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.  He managed a busy small animal practice in Chicago for seven years before purchasing Tri-City Animal & Bird Clinic in 1990.  In 2017, Dr. Morhaus joined Dr. Van Horn as co-owners of Tri-City.   He has pursued continuing education on a variety of avian, exotic, and small animal medical topics.  Dr. Van Horn's wife, Lori, is also a veterinarian.  The Van Horn's have four married children, Michael, Christina, Timothy and Angela and four grandchildren.  The Van Horn's share their home with a three cats named "Ezra", "Lila" and "Luca", and a cockatiel named "Buggs".

Dr. King graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.  During her time in school she was the assistant manager of the Intensive Care Unit for two years and the founder of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital's Trauma Team.  Dr. King practiced locally for over three years before joining Tri-City Animal & Bird Clinic in 1998.  Dr. King continues to stay current in veterinary medicine by attending annual veterinary conferences on small animal medicine and surgery.  Dr. King has one married daughter, Jessica.  Dr. King shares her home with five dogs named "Jersey", "Cynder", "Drogo", "Elli", "Zeus" and a snake named "Versi".

Dr. Coffman graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 before joining Tri-City Animal & Bird Clinic.  While in school she was active in the exotics club and helped organize the "Show Me Exotics" veterinary conference to help veterinarians learn more about exotic animals and medicine.  Dr. Coffman and her husband, Chris who is a computer programmer, have two daughters, Allison and Clarissa and a cat named "Banks", two dogs named "Persi" and "Diamond Destiny" and a guinea pig named "Mustard".

Dr. Bilyk graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.  She has practiced locally for 24 years before joining Tri-City in May 2018.  Dr. Bilyk has two sons, Eddie and Louis, two dogs named "Evelyn" and "Geoffrey" and two cats named "Pico" and "Skidmark".
