Patient-Doctor Relationship

Another important reason that we must see your pet for an annual wellness exam is to establish or maintain the “patient-doctor” relationship. This relationship allows us to legally examine, diagnose and treat your pet and includes, but is not limited to, examining your pet at least once a year to become familiar with your pet’s health concerns and needs. Furthermore, the relationship must be maintained for us to dispense medications and make recommendations in the future all of which are important in keeping your pet healthy.
